    the players are hares and the other half are hounds. The hounds then try to catch the hares.
    The way to play rounders is as follows: Half the players stay in a place that is called the town and the other half go out into the field. There are four places called stations also in the field. Some one throws a ball to one of the players in the town and that person hits it. If any one of the players that are out caps the ball the people in the town have to go out and the players outside come into the town. If a player can go from station to station without being hit by the ball he is said to have made a rounder. If a person is hit when going from station to station he is put out of play.
