    it very dry. They went on until they came to a well and they got a drink. (They) There was a bottle lying on the ground and there was a taste of whiskey in it and it was the very best whiskey in Scotland. Mick said "Man a dear if we had the full of that half paint bottle of that good whiskey". So they thought they would fill it with clean water and so they did but left the whiskey in it. Pat put the bottle in his inside pocket and they went to a public house. Pat went in and asked for half a pint of the best whiskey in the shop and to hurry because his brother was dying along the road. The man got it for him and Pat put it in his pocket. Then he said "I'll pay you for this again" but the man said "I could not do that". Pat said "My brother will be dead" but the shopkeeper would not let him away. So Pat put his hand in his pocket and gave him the bottle of water and walked (up) out with the bottle of whiskey and they had a good drink.
