   One fine day at the end of Summer Paddy the Irishman was in his own garden hunting the hens because they were eating the cabbage. He was in the worst of temper when a Yankee passed by. He stood and said "I say Paddy what have the hens done on you when you are so cross with them." In the Spring they tear the seed out of the ground
