  1. The only old ruin in the school district is what remains of the old church. It was built int he sixteenth century and it was abandoned in the beginning of the nineteenth century. The part of it that is standing was the chancel. Two Rev. Hawkshaws and Miss Annesley teacher of Fahan School are buried inside the part that stands.
