  1. John Elliott is a middling aged man. He is a good walker. He often walked to Milford and Letterkenny and walked home again.
    Michael Dunion who is dead now. He walked to Derry in one day. He started in the morning and he was back again before (night) sun-set. He lived in Lettermakenny.
    Jumpers.
    John Boland who lived in Letterkenny is dead now. He was a good jumper. He was able to jump over two spades stuck a little bit in the ground, and a shovel left across the top of them.
    Charles Diver who is dead now was a good jumper. He was able to jump over two rods the height of his chin and there was another rod left across the top of them.
    Mowers.
    William Crown who lived in Creggan was a good mower. He was able to mow on acre of corn from one o'clock in the day to half past six in the evening. He is dead now.
    Strong Men.
    There were two men at a funeral once. One man's name was James Pollack but I do
