- Get ten pieces of knotted straw bury one of them. Then rub the other nine on the warts three times a day for three days. Then bury them and when they have rotted. The warts disappear.
- The first hickup that comes say there goes one of them. when the second one comes say there goes two of them. if a third one comes say there goes three of them and the fourth one will never come
