  1. This is a cross roads, (three roads) in townland of Coolydory Tallow, midway between Tallow and Ballyduff.
    This cross was haunted by a ghost in the form of a goose for some years. It is told that a woman on her way home from Tallow market one night and carrying provisions met the goose at the crossroads.
    Throwing her basket of provisions at the goose the woman was changed into a large goose egg.
    Some time after the goose was said to be banished by a priest of the parish.
