- One day a farmer was making butter and he was all day at it and still the butter was not made.
Then after a while a woman came into the dairy and he told her how he could not make the butter. Then she went out and got two herbs and put them into the churn. Then she turned the churn two or three times and she told him that it was his neighbour next door who was taking it.A woman found that the milk her cows gave was very poor and thin. She went to a neighbouring farmer and soaked the flannel in the neighbour's milk which was very thick. She rubbed her wooden vessels with the flannel and ever since her milk had the same taste and the same rich quality as the neighbour's.
