- The local fairs are held in towns. Sometimes there are fairs for sheep in the country and the buyers from the towns come out bying sheep. Long ago there was a place back at crossroads and fairs were held called ruim Donaid. When people are bying cattle sheep or horses the one they buy them off will have to give luck. This money is called luck money. When anyone is buying foals or horses the one they buy them from will get a new halter and put it on the horse before they would let them go.
