  1. The bid wind began on the 12th night all of a sudden. It did'nt leave a house on the face of the country that it did'nt knock except the house of Micheal Mór Ó h-Oistín. It carried away all the corn and hay that was stored away in stack except the of Micheal Hastings. It is said that it was a big needle that was lost in it that kept it.
