“Major G. O'Grady was the landlord of our land long ago.”
Major. G. O. Grady was the land-lord of our land long ago. He was very hard on the people if they did not pay their rent. He would not let the people plough a meadow without his consent.
All those band-lords are gone away now and the rent is much lower and paid in a different way to the land-Commissionars.
Mr Delahunty used to collect the rent and was very strict because if the farmer had not it the day he would summon him- Informant
