    There is a leprechaun often seen in McInerney's grove.

    There is a leprechaun often seen in Mc Inerney's grove. He is a small little man and generally wears a red cap and green suit. Leprechauns are said to be the Fairyshoemakers and it is beleived that they have alot of gold. The place where he was seen is covered over with trees and in the middle of the trees there is a big lios.
    One night my Father went over to see the sheep and my Grandfather was with him. When they came to the grove they found the sheep there and they were looking at something. When my Grandfather looked in among the trees. he saw the leprechaun sitting on a mushroom mending boots. They remained looking at him for a while and then my Grandfather stole up behind him and took his cap. One of the sheep started roaring and my Grandfather turned aroud to see what was wrong with him and when he looked again the leprechaun was gone.
    Another night he was going over again and he saw the leprechaun in the same place and he caught him again. The leprechaun gave him a purse of gold. He came home and told the story and he went
