    The birds found in this district are : -
    Robins, Blackbirds, Thrushes, Wrens, Linnets, Sparrows, Snipe, Wild Duck, Swans, Pigeons, Crows, Starlings, Rooks, Grouse, Plovers, Crane, Cormorants, Seagulls, Wagtails, Hawks, Cuckoos, Swallows, Martins, Swifts, Corncrakes, Wood-pigeons, Curlews, Wild Geese, Woodcock, Divers.
    Swallows, swifts and martins migrate in September & return in May.
    The Woodcock leaves us in February and returns in November.
    The Wildgeese come here in November & they fly northwards in January.
    The Cuckoo arrives in April and leaves us in July.
    Blackbirds, Thrushes, Robins & Wrens build their nests in Bushes.
    Swallows, Martins, Swifts, Starlings, Sparrows build them in eaves of houses.
    Corncrakes, Wrens, Sparrows, Robins build them in holes in walls.
    Crows, Hawks, Wood-pigeons build them in trees.
    Larks, water-hens, Wild-geese, Snipe, Grouse, Pheasants, Wild duck, Seagulls, Cranes and
