    Bird-Lore
    cormorants build them on the ground.
    Swans build their nests in the water near a clump of rushes. The Swans gather a bundle of rushes and allow them to float on the rushes. This their nest: The female swan lays four eggs. They are white with brown spots on them and they are bigger than a goose egg. The female swan takes a month to hatch the eggs.
    Larks build their nests in tufts of grass on the ground. They are made of mud, moss & wool and are of a round shape with the opening at the top. They lay four eggs & take a fortnight to hatch them.
    The wild duck builds its nest of rushes on islands & usually on the shore near rushes. The female lays from 12 to 15 eggs.
