they were terrified and ran as fast as they could. When he saw them running he thought that they were running to be in time for Mass and he ran after them.

  2. About twenty years ago when John Hennessy's sister was getting married they were all gone to O'Callahan's Mills to the wedding. His aunt was left in charge of the house and she was an old woman. About night fall some of the neighbours came in to keep her company. She had a candle lighting and when the neighbours came in she went into the parlour to light the lamp and in doing so the window curtains took fire. The wallpaper and the ceiling and the thatch also took fire. Then the neighbours came and tried to quench the fire but all the roof of the parlour was burned but the other part of the house was saved.
