   Dwarf Elder.
   Dwarf Elder is a small green plant found on the sides of roads. It is supposed to be a cure for Morrain in cattle. You would gather the elder and chop it up and steep it in water. You would leave it in the water for a couple of days. At the end of that time the elder would be very soft. Then you would mix the elder and water and give it to cattle to drink to cure moraine.
   Dandelion.
   Dandelion is a cure for Tuberculosis or Consumption when the disease is at early stages. It can be eaten raw. It is also said that Dandelion when boiled is a cure for liver and kidney trouble. Dandelion is also used as a general tonic.
   Nettles.
   Nettles were used for nourishing the blood and for blood pressure in olden times. In order to prepare nettles for nourishing the blood, a person would have to boil nettles in water for about half an hour. The nettles would then be strained and eaten like cabbage.
   Garlic.
   Garlic is a plant resembling and onion. It grows in fields particularly in headlands of gardens. The upper part of the Garlic when applied to Mumps is supposed to cure them.
   White Horehound.
   White Horehound is found in waste ground. The whole plant is aromatic and bitter and is a common remedy for coughs.
   Camomile
   Camomile is a plant with a sweet odour which is used
