When cattle are sold they are marked with keel and often times put into a yard. They are also marked a lot of different ways, clipped in the ear or a little piece of hair clipped of the side at the flank. when horses are sold there is no marble put on them as there is always a halter on them and they cannot get mixed up with other horses. Most of the cattle are driven without any trying but some cattle are contrary and a halter is put on them to take them to the fair.
