  1. It is said that the Holy Souls are released from twelve o'clock on Hallow E'en till twelve o'clock on All Souls Night and are regarded by some people as ghosts. Young people do all sorts of tricks on this night and pretend that it si the ghosts that do them. Many people have a custom not to remain out late this night because they wish to give it to the Holy Souls.
    Young boys and men gather in bands and go through the country playing tricks on this night such as removing gates, tying doors, stuffing chimneys and pulling heads of cabbages.
