    When we are going to have snow the robin comes to the door,
    When we are going to have a fine day the smoke goes up straight.
    When the sun comes out too early it is said that the day will be wet.
    When the crickets sing we are going to have rain.
    When soot falls we are going to have bad weather.
    When the water is hot we are going to have thunder.
    When the birds come near the house we are going to have cold weather.
    When the hens pick their feathers it is said we are going to have rain.
