  1. On the road to Killenaule about half a mile from Laffan's Bridge a gate is used as an entrance to a field. At each side of the gate are stone piers fairly high.
    Just as it is given below on a flat on one of the piers the following is written:
    RCABENHONOR
    EVERY ONE WILL DIE AFTER TOMORROW
    No one knows how long this inscription is there, or who did it, but a lady in Cooleagh whose grandfather lived to be well over ninety years had it from him that portion of it was Hebrew and that it meant:
    "Remember man thou art but dust, and into dust, return thou must".
