  2. Local Happenings.
In July 1937 I and Thomas Hall and the Rev. Graham were bathing in Drumkerry lake Thomas Hall's swimming tube floated away in the water. The Rev. Graham was swimming after it. When we looked round. The Rev. Grsham was in difficulty. He went up and down three times but we only thought he was diving. When he went down the third time he did not come up again. I shouted over at Mr. Earl who was dressing himself. He got into the water as quickly as he could but we lost the place where Mr. Graham had gone down The body was found 2 hounds later but life was extinct. The body of deceased was removed to Coleraine where he was buried The funeral was largely attended and quite a number of people from Bailieboro were present.
