At length we got to Maleadys, a fine house
among the trees
And soon we made the bargain for a couple a hive of Bees
I lifted up the top you see, to view the
dear wee things
When in less than a couple of seconds, I was
covered all over with stings
They stung me on the head and ears,
The stung me on the nose
They stung me on the hands and knees, and
some got up my clothes
They stung me on the hands and knees and
Oh! they went so far
That I had to fly for shelter to the little Baby Car.

We started then for home again, the road was mighty rough
We never knew then where we were till we
struck the Rock of Muff
We bounded off the rock again and back
through old Drumbar.
I'll never forget the terrible fright I got
