  1. Some time ago a brother of mine when digging in an old shore found a coin about the size of a half-penny. The date on it is 1760. On one side a soldier with a spear in his hand and a harp beside him can be clearly seen. As the other side is rusty it is hard to see what is on it but the words ''voce Populi'' can be seen. The harp side has the word ''Hibernia'' on it.

  2. There was a priest of the name of Fr Reilly. He lived in the townland of Anaharnett. This priest had a mare which was worth a good price.
