Dandelion is a plant and a very useful medicine may be decocted from it and is used by invalids and people run down for a tonic.
The tormential root (called by the old people tormenting root) and is sometimes called septfoil. It is a small miserable looking plant growing on an old ditch or barren soil and is a most powerful remedy for diarrhoea in the human being and very seldom fails curing.
