    of Meath descended on the rebels and routed them. They fled from the island leaving the vessels behind them, hoping to come back and discover them later.
    Lord Headfort's ancestors who were landlords of the place obtained some of the vessels. Some protestant planters on the far side of the island got more of them. The remainder of them was taken home to Virginia and sold for under value.
