  1. In most cases Friday is noted as a very lucky day for changing to a new house especially where old people are concerned as they are more superstitious than the younger generation. They always claim Saturday as a very unlucky day. And on Monday all farmers like to start their work. They never start anything on a Saturday.
    Whit Week is supposed to be a very unlucky week. It is dangerous to go swimming, boating or motoring on Whit Sunday as the superstition prevails that something dreadful may happen.
    The borrowing days are the last three days of March and the first three days of April. A
