  1. The traveller that visits this district most often is called "Beardy Jimmy". He comes about once a week and he always visits our home. He wears a torn suit and tattered cap, and old boots. He makes tea frequently and afterwards asks a drink of butter-milk. He wears a long beard, and that is the reason he is known as "Beardy Jimmy".
Another traveller that visits our district is known as "Big Brian". He is fairly tall, and carries a bag on his back. He goes about from house to house looking for bottles and sometimes eggs or bread.
Now-a-days travellers have special places along the roads for sleeping at night. In the day time they go about from house to house looking for alms. Some of them travel in bands and others in families.
