Ar an leathanach seo
- One day an old woman who was washing; came to a well for a bucket of water.
When she reached the well she lifted the cover of the well and took up her bucket of water.
When she was going away from the well she forgot to put the cover on the well and the water followed her.
When she was going by a man who was cutting hay he saw the water following her and he cut the legs of her. The water stopped following her and that was how Lake Sheelin was made.
Every seven years there is somebody drowned in lake Sheelin.
