    There is supposed to be a hidden treasure buried in a fort belonging to a man named Patrick Reilly of Corlana, West Meath on a road leading from Castlepollard to Mullingar.
    The time that the black - and - tans were in Ireland (were) they robbed a lord and when hey were making away with all the valuable vessels and gold, when a spy told them that the Irish volunteers were in their pursuit and they were very close behind.
    They would not have time to fly but it is said that they buried them in the fort. Its supposed value is over
