   Told by Dan Goss and he heard it from Luke Toole
   One time a man was going away about a cow that was sick and he was going somewhere and a white Goose bit on the slat of the car and he went on another pice and a grey horse put his head across a ditch and shuck it three times and then he was going on another pice and he looked behind him an he saw a black dog coming behind him and then the Goose said to the man only for me you were gone and the Goose was a gardian angle.

   Told by Mrs Tyrell and she heard it from her mother. Onced upon a time there was a man named Matheres and he lived in Killkarney and he died and he was always coming back and tormenting his sons they went for the Minister but he did no good then they went for the Priest and the Priest read out of a book and he called the man three times and the third time he came and the Priest asked him where was he when I called you first and the man said he was in one of the bottomless pits of hell and where were you when I called you the second time I was coming out in
