  2. I was told by my father that forty years ago there lived principally in Uppertown a great story teller, his name was John Fitzpatrick. He used to visit the houses in the neighbourhood after his work in the evenings. He used to arrive at a house at about six o clock in order to secure a warm corner by the fireside and then he would commence his story telling. When the neighbouring people
