  1. Severe Snow
There was a severe snow storm about the year 1901. It blew from the north a thick heavy fall of snow. It started in the morning and snowed all day and all night. The ground was covered to a depth of from three to six feet. All roads were blocked for about a week. The people had to shovel away the snow from the roads before any traffic would travel.
