- A StoryLarry Kelly went out for the cow in the month of September. It was a wild and windy evening. He sat under the ditch to light his pipe. When he had his pipe lit he got up and saw a light come a few yards away. He went to the door and knocked. No sooner had he knocked than the door flew open and he was taken off his feet and thrown on a loft opposite the fire. When he came to himself he looked down on the kitchen floor. There he beheld or saw a hundred and fifty mourning the loss of a relation. In the corner or hob at the fireside sat a woman that looked older than the rest. The clock struck twelve the light went out and the old woman in the corner said who will say the rosary.(continues on next page)
