    came and stole one chest of gold. The servant pursued them but when they got out of sight they hid the gold under a tree.
    They never came back again.
    When the Dournfords were leaving the castle they hid a crock of gold also. The left a black cat to mind it Every day the cat is supposed to give three jumps and lands at the Shannon for a drink a distance of three miles. She gives three more jumps and she lands at the tree again.
