- The Lone Bush
On Mike Flannery's hill in Creevagh there is a lone bush. It has grown there for the past hundred years, and never seems to grow any bigger. It is said that, if a person walks three times round the bush they are taken in the fairies. In this village there once lived a man, Pat Flannery who had very good courage when a young boy. He kept walking round the bush three times and he then found himself taken to a lovely door, and through a long hall, into a large dining room and given nice food to eat. Pat was very cute(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
