    Long ago there was an old barn in Lemonaghan which belonged to a Mr. Corcoran, my great Grandfather. A man came from Ferbane certain evenings during the week to teach the children Catechism. My grandmother, Mrs Corcoran was taught Catechism in it before she went to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
