  1. Long ago the people were able to know what kind of weather we were going to have by the appearance of the Sky.
    They Sky. If the sky is very dark and cloudy it is a sign of rain.
    The Wind. If the win comes from Derrymore it is a sure sign of rain.
    The Birds. If the birds are in the hedges it is a sign of a cold day.
    The Animals. If the sheep are grazing very early in the morning the day will be wet but if they are lying down the day will be sunny. If it is raining the people look at the horse. If the horse is standing with
