Ar an leathanach seo

  1. In olden times a settle was to be found in nearly every home.
    It was made altogether of wood and could be made into a seat or table during the day and a bed at night.
    It was about five feet long and the table was about four feet wide and the seat about two feet. The back was connected to the top by two hinges and it could be taken out from the wall and left down so as to form a table.
    When the table was not in use it was made to lean up against the wall to form a back for the seat.
    The seat could be taken out at night and shoved
