Sometime after the British Soldiers arrived in Wexford in 1798...

    (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
Some years after the girl told her secret but she could not tell the exact spot where she had seen the soldiers burying the treasure
The young man of the district spent a year digging and turning up stones, but all in vain. About twenty eight years ago a descendant of that girl found the box near a rock in the Forth Mountain He did not know what the contents of the box were not the value of them.
About five years ago a craft hunter got them from this man and sold them to a clergy-man in the adjoining Parish. They were tools used by some artist of the Druids over 2,000 years ago and can be seen at the present day in South Wexford.
