  1. There is a holy well in Trinity a short distance from the grave-yard. It is situated on a little hill and is lined with stones inside.
    It is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. A "pattern" is held in the grave-yard twice a year
    The water of this well, if taken cures sore throats. The water also cures warts, sores burns and warts and has a special cure for delicate children
    There are leaves growing in the well which will cure too if rubbed on affected parts
    The people of the district have faith in the well and clean it every year
    The water of the well will not boil
    A story is told of a Protestant lady who came to picnic near the well and got the water from the well to boil to make the tea. She was told it would not boil but boasted that she would MAKE it boil
    She tried and tried but she could not Succeed + was forced to admit that the water would not boil
