  1. One night when two men were fishing out at the Ferry for salmon and they came up by the Ferry Bridge. One of them saw something moving on the bridge. They looked up at the Ferry castle and saw a great number of things moving. They were not nervous and when they came down near the bridge they saw they were soldiers. They were armed all over the body. There were thousands of them on the Bridge and more near the castle. The men turned back as quickly as possible without speaking a word to each other. They could see the soldiers training up and down from a far distance. And at about half past one o clock. They returned back to their castle. The
