    something wrong with his face. Doctors regarded it as incurable. His mother heard of this seventh son and she brought him to him. The child was only a baby at the time, and it cured my uncle's name face by drawing his hand across it. In a fortnight his face was as well as ever.
    Dandelion was a cure for consumption. It was boiled and the juice was supposed to cure the person.
    In Rathaspeck there is a blessed well which cures warts
    Johnny Whitty of the Redshire has a blessed stone, which he cures sore eyes. This stone is the shape of an eye.
    A plant called "Golden Rod" and household blue are cures for bee stings. The "Golden Rod" and blue are placed on the sting.
