    There is a rath in Shielbaggan in the parish of Ramsgrange; there is a lot of gold buried in it.
    The men from the district came to the conclusion one night to go dig for it.
    They brought picks and shovels and woollen thread and holy water with them.
    They where other fellows came to know that they were digging for it. They made up a plan to frighten them. So they started digging away in the middle of the night.
    They were digging away for an hour when they saw a white thing coming. One of the men got the holy water and shook it, and he said he would keep it out.
    Bit it kept coming nearer. They put down the shovels and picks and ran for their lives. So that put an end to their gold digging.
    It was only the local men that frightened them.
