Ar an leathanach seo

  1. A pedlar was going slowly long the road. He sat down to rest by the ruins of an old castle. The day was very warm and he was tire.
    His pack lay on the ground beside him. After he rested he was about to proceed on his journey.
    He heard a slight sound behind him looking around he saw a man approaching.
    The man sat down beside him, "I am the Devil", he said, "and you are in my power.". "But I will give you one chance", taking from his pocket a pack of cards. "Now,", he said to the pedlar, "we will play for the pack beside you."
    They played and the Devil won it, but the pedlar refused to give it up.
    After a heated argument the pedlar seized the Devil and put him in a bag. He threw it over his shoulder and went his way.
    He came to a blacksmith's forge and he went in.
