    A man named Bucawn Egan who lived in Lanesboro, [?] Longford, was preparing to thatch his house and there was grass growing on it. So he got his cow and tried to pull her up on the house by the tail to eat the grass so that he could thatch it. The people used to say "Making preparations like Bucawn Egan."
    "Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.
    "Curiosity killed the cat and information made him fat."
    "Dont judge a man by his dress"
