- (continued from previous page)in the townland of Ballyclimea. There was a teacher's residence attached to it. Both were sold about twenty years ago, as the protestant population of the district had gone down. Mr Finnegan bought them and converted the School-house into a shop. The few protestant children then went to the nearest Catholic Schools to be taught. There is also another of these old school in Abbeyshrule.
