It is said that this weed is good for feeding small chickens. Some people feed pigs with the dockings. The knettles [nettles] are used for feeding turkeys when they are small. Scutch grass is a cure for the kidneys. Breslian is a herb which is the colour of a nut outside and white like milk inside and the people used to eat it during the famine.
