  1. My house is situated in the townsland of Garryduff, in the parish of Kilbeggan, in the Barony of Moycashel. The houses are thatched. There is a man in this district and he is over seventy and he can tell stories in English. His name is Christie Harte. He lives in Rahugh and he lives in the same barony.
I heard it said that in olden times, there was a road around by the back of our house and that there were so many houses around it that it was like a town.
