    Bird Cage
Plait hazel rods together in the shape of a crib and fix a piece of rod under it and another to raise the cage on one side. then shake crumbs inside under it and when the bird would hit against the stick it would fall and the bird would get caught under it.

  2. Flutes
Flutes are made by getting a straight piece of elder and boring the inside out of it. Three holes are made in the side of the flute and one at each end. If you blew into the holes at the ends the wind would come out at the side and make a kind of music.
