- About forty six years ago there lived near Drumcree on the road to Fore an old woman in a mudwall cabin. Her name was Ann Neill. She was a very religious old woman and spent the most of her time in prayed. In her little room she had an alter with the statue of the Blessed Virgin on it.
At that time there was a young curate in Collinstown named Father Duffy, who was a great friend of Ann, and visited her each day. At last he was changed from Collinstown. Before he went he called to see Ann and told her he was going away. Ann began to cry and told him she would be very lonely for him. "Never mind Ann" you will have plenty of company get.
